Expertise & Training

Dr Pannick qualified at the University of Cambridge and University College London, graduating with Distinction in Clinical Practice.

He is a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, where he specialises in endoscopy and colonoscopy, and the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), abdominal pain, diarrhoea, constipation, bloating, heartburn, reflux and swallowing disorders.

Dr Pannick is a fully accredited endoscopist. He performs hundreds of endoscopies each year, including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy, and percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy.

Dr Pannick also holds a PhD from Imperial College London in the organisational delivery of medical care, and has published papers in some of the world's leading medical journals, including the BMJ and JAMA Internal Medicine. His academic work was highlighted by the US Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality for its lasting importance in the field of patient safety. Dr Pannick was a finalist in the UK’s Health Service Journal awards. He is a member of the British Society of Gastroenterology, the Royal College of Physicians, and the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
